Frequently Asked Questions
What types of clients do you work with?
I work with children, teens, and families who may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, trauma, family conflict, adoption transitions, behavioral challenges, and/or neurodiversity. My approach is compassionate, individualized and grounded in creating a safe, supportive space for each person.
Do you offer both in-person and telehealth sessions?
Yes! I offer both in office sessions in Franklin, NH and telehealth sessions for clients located anwhere in New Hampshire. This flexibility allows us to create a setting that feels most comfortable and convenient for you.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 50- 55 minutes long, though the length and structure can be adjusted depending on your goals and the needs of each family or individual. The initial intake appointment generally lasts longer, approximately 90 to 120 minutes.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I accept several insurance plans and can also provide private pay options. For details on coverage and rates please see my "Anchoring the details" section or contact me directly to discuss your specific plan.
What can I expect during the first session?
The first session is focused on getting to know you (and your child or family if applicable). We'll discuss your goals for therapy, explore what has been challenging, and begin to identify the strengths and supports that will help you move forward. It's a time for connection and collaboration.
