The Story Behind the Sail

Hi! My name is Sarah Detamore and I have been a licensed independent clinical social worker in NH since 2022. I received a dual bachelor's in social work and criminal justice from LaSalle University in 2009.  After 10 years in the field, I decided to return to school to get my master's in social work. I graduated from the University of New England in 2019 with my MSW.  Over the past 15 years, I have provided services in residential, school, community and home-based setting, including 6 years working in community mental health where I received specialized training in trauma focused therapy with children. These experiences have deeply shaped my belief that healing happens through safe, trusting relationships.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills, and utilize a strength based, solution-focused, collaborative model of care.
